Philosophy of Care

My focus is on delivering evidence-based quality care developed over a long career in psychiatric nursing in the inpatient, outpatient, and remote settings. I treat my patients as if they were a family member. I listen to concerns and work as a team with my patients to help them achieve a higher quality of life.

Professional Focus

Psychiatric medication management with special interests in depression and schizophrenia in adult and senior clients. I have a particular interest in chronic mental illness and long term stabilization.

Fun Facts

Cross stitching, spending time with loved ones, and helping others are my passions. I also enjoy traveling with friends, exploring different places of interest in Florida, and I volunteer at a cow sanctuary. I am a second career nurse, previously working in the semiconductor field for many years. I have 5 degrees and my lifelong career is actually being a professional student. We are never too old to keep learning!
