Philosophy of Service

TCCH plays vital role in Indian River County by providing healthcare to people who need it most and are least likely to have access to it. In my Board role, I want to help expand TCCH’s reach and impact, particularly among underserved populations, while exploring new approaches that build on the organization’s strong foundation and further advance its mission.

Professional Focus

My focus is on expanding TCCH’s reach among uninsured/Medicaid patients in a thoughtful and systematic way, while also identifying new opportunities to strengthen the organization’s financial sustainability. I look forward to bringing my experience in strategic planning, business development, and execution to help TCCH grow its impact and better serve the underserved communities of Indian River County.

Fun Facts

I enjoy sports, particularly tennis, as well as hiking and spending time in nature. I love reading, exploring new places – both culturally and geographically – and sharing those experiences with friends.

Professional Experience

Over more than 40 years in finance, I have built businesses and led both small and large teams through periods of significant change and transition. I have always defined success not only by financial performance, but also by the success of my colleagues and clients. During the last 12 years of my professional career, my focus has been on sustainability—helping investors and companies, building effective platforms in a rapidly changing environment and define meaningful impact.

My board experience includes serving as President of High Water Women, a New York City–based nonprofit focused on financial literacy for teens and women, particularly in underserved communities, as well as serving on the U.S. Board of The Climate Group, a global nonprofit working toward net-zero emissions by 2050 and greater prosperity for all. I have also been involved with a number of smaller environmental and social initiatives.

These experiences have given me a strong sense of responsibility to others, together with the strategic perspective to identify practical and effective solutions.

I would also describe my journey as a life well lived, and I feel a strong desire to continue using my experience to make a positive difference. Seeing the growing inequities in our society has reinforced my commitment to doing my part to address them. Healthcare and education are two important drivers of opportunity, and I believe TCCH has an important role to play at this juncture. I have been greatly impressed by TCCH’s leadership and Board and feel strongly aligned with their commitment to the community.
