Professional Experience
Michele L Miller is a Senior Vice President and Senior Fiduciary Officer in Northern Trust’s Vero Beach office, advising families across complex, multi‑generational needs on estate planning, wealth transfer strategies, and family governance. Before joining Northern Trust, she practiced law in Minnesota, focusing on estate and tax planning, trust and estate administration, business law, and advising nonprofit entities. Michele earned a B.A. in Organizational Behavior from the College of St. Scholastica and a J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law. Michele believes strongly in giving back to her community, serving on and chairing many non-profit boards over the past 20 years. Understanding non-profit entities are stewards of community trust and advancement, she brings a disciplined, values‑driven approach to governance by asking the hard questions, safeguarding resources, and centering every decision on the mission and measurable impact.
