Philosophy of Care

My philosophy of care when treating patients focuses on active listening without judgement or assumptions in order to provide individualized care based on their specific needs and situation. I view each and every single patient for who they are – a whole person with their own story, strengths, and lived experiences that matter. My priority is to create a safe and collaborative environment where the patient and I work as a team to find the best treatment tailored around their diagnosis, while providing them with the proper tools and education so that they may make informed decisions for their care under my guidance and recommendations.

Professional Focus

My area of interest involves working with adults with various mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. I also enjoy working with Spanish speaking patients, as sometimes they may find it challenging to find Spanish speaking providers.

Fun Facts

I enjoy spending time with my family and pets, in addition to gardening, which is one of my hobbies.
