Philosophy of Care

My philosophy of care is rooted in patient safety, quality, and compassion. As the Director of Nursing with nearly 13 years of inpatient and outpatient nursing experience, I believe in leading with integrity, clear communication, and respect. I am committed to creating an environment where patients receive the highest standard of care and where staff are supported to work confidently and autonomously within their full scope of practice. I value teamwork, active listening, and consistency in following established procedures to ensure every patient receives safe, reliable, and patient-centered care.

I have a strong passion for ensuring excellence in patient safety and quality of care across all areas of our organization. I enjoy supporting and developing nursing staff, helping them grow professionally while maintaining high standards and accountability. I love caring for all patient populations; I’ve always had a special place in my heart for newborns and pediatrics. One of the things I love about TCCH is the opportunity to impact care across multiple specialties—family practice, pediatrics, and behavioral health—ensuring patients of all ages receive coordinated, compassionate, and comprehensive care.

Fun Facts

I love being outdoors, barrel racing my horses, fishing, taking family trips to Tennessee, and I LOVE watching my son play baseball.
