Philosophy of Care
As a pediatrician, I believe that every child is unique, and their care should reflect that individuality. Effective treatment is not just about medical knowledge, but about understanding each patient and family, recognizing what approaches work best for them, and adapting care accordingly. I see healthcare as a personal, evolving process where trust and meaningful relationships are built over time. By listening carefully, communicating openly, and collaborating with families, I strive to create a supportive environment that prioritizes both health and well-being at every stage of a child’s growth.
Professional Focus
My clinical focus includes caring for children with autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, and complex medical needs. I am committed to providing thoughtful, individualized care that supports both children and their families.
Medical education is also a central part of my professional work. I began my career by joining the faculty at Albany Medical College in New York and have continued my academic career in Florida, teaching medical students since 2003. I value mentoring and take great pride in contributing to the development of future physicians.
Fun Facts
I grew up in Vero Beach and have a lifelong love for all things Disney. I especially enjoy spending time with my family at the parks or on a Disney cruise, where family time is always sprinkled with a little pixie dust!
