The intent of accreditation is for organizations to adopt policies and procedures that fuel ongoing quality improvement and self-evaluation every day.
Dr. Heather Miranda, TCCH Interim CEO, describes why the AAAHC accreditation is an important milestone, “AAAHC walk throughs and accreditation ensure a continuous focus on quality and the highest standards of care. This benefits our patients and employees by allowing us to place an emphasis on safety and quality improvement initiatives that make us better as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).”
